Mobile Nav and Servotion are two products that integrate well with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. With both apps offering a range of uses, it can be difficult to know which is suited for specific business needs. Today, we’re talking about the differences in Servotion, including the additional features and the drawbacks to help you understand how Servotion differs from Mobile NAV.
Mobile NAV
Mobile NAV is Multisoft’s flagship product. It’s a complex mobile solution with functions in Field Service, Warehouse Management, Sales, Manufacturing, Project Tasks and Production Tasks.
Mobile NAV can connect to NAV/BC, enabling all of its capabilities but with added mobile features. It may need to be customised to add more functions.
Servotion
Servotion is a complete field service solution. It has a very similar background and architecture to Mobile NAV but includes some added Service Features. However, it doesn’t have the additional functions like Sales and Manufacturing.
The mobile app comes with more Service features, there’s an included Customer Portal, there’s the ability to integrate a Visual Scheduler, and you can add an Automatic Scheduler.

- Answer Groups– This is a tab where help or instructions can be provided, and questions can be asked. Reports are also generated in the background.

Features include status report sending to clients, repair and maintenance task evaluation, 24/7 report requesting, service parts and items information checking, service items lifecycle tracking and issue status tracking.
Conclusion
Each application presents a variety of pros and cons, which vary in importance depending on the specific needs of the customer. Servotion has far more functions in Field Service, while MobileNAV boasts the option of working in more areas like Sales and Warehousing.
