Microsoft Copilot
Microsoft Copilot has a huge range of features built to improve how we work and create, saving us time on mundane tasks and leaving us free to do what matters. From summarising Microsoft Teams meetings to drafting responses to emails in Outlook.
Today, we are listing 5 uses of Microsoft Copilot that you can use to improve your quality and efficiency of work.
Microsoft Teams – Summaries and Opinions.
Meetings are necessary to discuss key agendas and tasks to progress in a project, but often, a lot of time is spent summarising the meeting instead of getting to work on the discussed project.
Copilot now takes this burden off of you. With the ability to ask Copilot questions about the meeting, you can gain quick insights without needing to scrub through the meeting details. Simply ask Copilot to summarise the discussed topics for an overview of the meeting, or if you need more specific details you could ask Copilot to create a list of Pros and Cons of the discussed topic.
Save time in Outlook
Copilot in Outlook is great for efficiency with the ability to create next-level summaries. Connected emails with a large group of recipients responding with their own opinions and additions to a topic can often get complicated, leading to missed details and errors. Copilot can give you an overview of the discussed topic, including the opinions of different people and detailing any unanswered questions. It also has the ability to create and send emails for you based on the prompts you provide.
Excel
Copilot in Excel is perfect for analysing data and gaining insights. With Copilot, you can easily navigate Excel without the need for extensive formula knowledge. By simply asking and telling Copilot different commands, you can have Copilot create graphs for you, receive formula suggestions, insert tables, identify trends, and more. It can even recommend changes to produce a different outcome.
PowerPoint
Copilot revolutionises how you can use PowerPoint, turning lengthy processes into quick actions from the written instructions you provide:
- Condense already written PowerPoints
- Create entire presentations from Word documents you’ve created and even add images. It can also include sources and speaker notes.
- Turn bullet points into tables with images.
- Time animations.
- Reformat text.
Word
Copilot in Word has a range of uses to improve your documents. First of all, it can create draft documents for you, even adding information from specified locations. You can go into more detail by specifying a section of your text and asking Copilot to improve the way it is written or change the tone it’s written in. You can do this for the entire document too. You can use Copilot to edit existing documents by editing text or adding images, or you can ask it to summarise what is written.
