Adapt Faster with Power Platform.
The updates to Power Platform have enhanced its capabilities with many other Microsoft applications such as Virtual Tables, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Dynamics 365 Sales, streamlining your workflow.
Business Central virtual tables on Dataverse now support Power Pages.
Power Pages in Business Central now lets external users perform CRUD operations on virtual tables in Microsoft Dataverse. External users can engage in processes like bidding or onboarding without Business Central credentials and signing in. Admins have control over permissions, selecting operations, tables, and rows for anonymous or authenticated access. Authenticated access requires signing in. This feature also extends authenticated access to internal Business Central users.
Enhance your integration with Dataverse and Dynamics 365 by synchronizing additional fields.
Integration is now easier with the option of synchronising more fields to fit your business’s needs. Customer, Vendor, Contact, Salesperson, and Opportunity now have more available fields.
When connecting to Dataverse, you can set up specific virtual tables.
The activation of virtual tables expands the field of accessible data between Business Central and Dataverse. The integration of Business Central with Dataverse offers a significant advantage by preventing duplicate data entry.
Change modification limits for starting flows and bulk updates.
Efficiently handle extensive datasets in Power Automate and trigger automation for multiple rows that have been updated, ensuring smooth operation even with substantial updates.
Handle business events using the Business Central connector in Power Automate.
Build flows to react to specific business events.
Streamlined creation of Power Automate flows using templates from Business Central.
It’s now easier to create flows from templates with the use of a single entry point.
Take command of your Power BI embedded content viewing experience.
In previous versions, the Power BI part on role centres had limitations, displaying only the first page of a multipage report with a fixed size. The updates have enhanced control over report pages, added full-page view flexibility, improved zoom control for reports, and you can now show scorecards.
Retrieve a roster of companies using Business Central connector in Power Automate.
Execute flows across multiple companies more easily with the use of an action to retrieve a roster of companies.
Approval flow in Power Automate has been simplified.
A couple of updates include: The environment and company are automatically set in approval templates, and approval and confirmation emails contain information on who made and approved requests.
Create Power Automate flows that dynamically support different companies.
Easily cater to small and medium sized businesses with Power Automate flows that work with different companies.
